One thing i had to overcome is when I was growing up I was dyslexic and I was bigger then normal. People would make fun of me because I was in the class with all the other different people. The people in the class couldn't walk or talk correctly. So when i would leave the class they would be right behind me and the other normal people would see that and stare and laugh, thinking I wouldn't hear them. Then when it was lunch they wouldn’t want to play or even talk to me because they thought i was different. When i tried to play soccer they would say you can't play and when i ask why they would say because you're different. Then when i ask what is different about me they would say because you're in that different class, with different people and you look like you couldn't play even if you wanted to. The way I overcome it is by ignoring it and move on. Then in middle school I found some people who would except me and I played sports. But I kept my dyslexic a secret in middle school because of what happened to me in elementary school elementary. Then at the end of the year I finally told my friends and they were surprised that I was dyslexia. The thing I learned through the experience is that not everyone acts the same and that I shouldn't be scared to tell my friends or anyone about my dyslexia.

One significant education thing I had to overcome in being dyslexic. It was was hard to read, spell and write. I was reading about three grade levels under I was supposed to be at. But then to help me in the problem I was put in a class that had other people like me. Who had the same problem of reading writing, and spelling. The teachers talked to my parents about what was happening and said to help me more I had to change schools and that meant I had to leave the friends I had. That also meant that my brother had to change schools and that also meant he lost all of his friends because of me. It was hard to knowing that my brother lost all his friends was because of my dyslexia. When we were little he would say that he lost all his friends because of me and I wouldn't know what to say because he was right. To help my parent would try and help the best they can by buying me books to read and even audio books. So that I can read along with i the reader. They would get me a tutor and they even went to the doctor to see if it was because i can't focus. But at the end everything they tried helped just a little. But not enough to get me out of the classes and into the normal class. To this day I still am try to overcome this challenge with dyslexia.

One talent I have is playing football. I have been playing football for a will now. I have always done better as the years passed, learning new things and learning for mistakes. As the years past I saw myself getting stronger and faster. I came from not knowing the difference between offense and defense to knowing how to read and attack a defense as a play is going. I improved by learning what each position does and their role in the team. I came from being a third string player to a starter on varsity in the school varsity team. Almost every day I would do weight lifting and run exercises to get better at football. It's a sport that doesn't come naturally. You have to work hard and be committed to the sport. I have played this sport since I was little and I always loved to play the sport. One thing that it taught me is that it’s easy to fall but the real challenge is getting up after you fall. Another thing that football has taught me is to trust in others and count on them that they're doing there job and giving all of their effort. I have always loved this talent because it hard and it challenges my body and brain to perform in a stressful situations and when I am hurt or exhausted. It's important to me because it taught me discipline and it taught me to push myself. It's also where I get to hang out with friends and get to hit them at the same time, without getting in trouble.

I had a an original idea when my dad, his brother and my brother and me had to replace a beam at my grandma's back porch because it was old and braking. We didn't know how to take out the old beam without having to remove the top of it or it falling because all of the weight is on that one beam. Then I thought of going to the nurse wood store to buy wood and put two things of long woods together like a T shape and putting that under a jack that my dad had to lift the roof a little higher so the weight is off the beam. It was working and we got it done and we took down the support. So then we thought we were all done. Then we notice that the new beam was bowing down. We were thinking of going to the store and return the beam and try another one. But then I said we should just flip it on the opposite side so it would bow down again. But this time it was strait. So we had to take out the old beam and replace it. Just to have to take out the new beam and flip it. But as we were doing all this the wood that was holding the roof up started to splinter and crack. So when we notice that we had to hurry so it didn't break and the roof doesn't fall on use as we are working
Final Personal Response
My life story would be incomplete without my family and friends that supported me through my journey throughout my life. They help me make my identity because it isn’t something you find it’s something you make. My family has always pushed me to be the pest that can be in school or in the sports that I can . They would drop anything that they're doing to watch me play or they would drive hours to get me to a football camp so that i can train. I know when i am done with a long game and i know that I am all sweaty and stinky that they would greet me with a huge and say that i had a great game even though i had a bad one they would try and convince me it was the other guy's fault. My biggest help has to be my grandma because no matter what she will be really and say that I did horrible job or I did good job . I can always look to my family for advice on what should I do next. My identity is someone who will try and bring a smile to your face even when you're not in the mood. I learned that from my family that it’s always better to have a smile on your face. I think my race has a big part in my life because I am Mexican and we always like to part and be with our family whenever we can. It also helps that my family is very big and I always find myself run into someone i know at the stores. A big part of my identity is football because it where i make most of my friends and it pushes me to do my best that I can be. As I the years past of playing football it taught me how to listen and follow orders without talking back. It also tout how to get back up after I get knock down. I also taught me to blame no one but myself if I mess up on a play or a drill. My education experience help me to except what's going, to accept help from others and to ask for help. I have learned that it's better to ask questions then to not ask and never know the answer. One aspect of my culture that i'm most proud of is having a big fun and always ready to party family. The thing that makes me uniquely is that i'll always try and make your day a little happier and i'll always try and make a joke whenever i can.
